Week 11: Midgame Mayhem

Weekly Report #11 Week 11: Midgame Mayhem: Strategy Under Fire (10/27/2025 - 11/3/2025)

This week was pretty hectic with multiple tests that I had along with Halloween plans with my friends and the etiquette meal on the 28th at First Watch. I had an AP US History test on Monday, a Rhetorical Analysis Essay on Tuesday, and a content check for AP Calculus BC, along with other homework assignments that I had to complete. I didn’t get a chance to play much chess due to my busy schedule, but I still managed to play bullet chess (Chess with very short time per person - approximately 1 minute) in between any breaks that I got. I got the opportunity to go to a Halloween party on Friday with Sripaadh, Henry, and a couple of other friends, and it was hosted by Jack. We got the opportunity to hang out and watch a movie. In First Watch, I ordered a blueberry pancake, potatoes, and scrambled eggs. The food was amazing, but really heavy with large portions. During the week, we also had the club fair, where I went with Abduallah and Sripaadh to represent the Robotics club. I was also there for the engineering club and the American Red Cross. We had our Red cross meeting on October 28th, where I led the meeting on informing the members on connecting Wakeland RCC with the the American Red Cross North Texas Region. I also attended the Organic Chemistry meeting that was held on October 30th in order to better prepare myself for taking organic chemistry in college. A highlight this week was the opportunity to hang out with my friends and celebrate Halloween after a really long time. I didn’t really have a low point during the week, except for the fact that I made a silly mistake on my Calculus BC test.

For ISM, I have the research speech coming up on Wednesday that I need to continue working on. I have completed my google slides presentation and need to finish my script. Over the weekend, I completed the Interview assessment #9 where I discussed the interview that I had with Professor Vijay Vaidyanathan, who was the founding chair of Biomedical engineering at the University of North Texas. We discussed Biomedical Instrumentation, AI in healthcare along Biomedical optics for oral cancer along with the future trends in Biomedical engineering, especially AI. Along with that, I also completed Assessment 10, which was for my Original Work where I researched the Tumor-on-a-chip (ToaC platform) that would best replicate the tumor environment. I have finalized what I will be doing for my original work. Originally, I was thinking of researching different cancer therapy methods and then making an original therapy method, but I have not finalized on creating a research paper regarding the ToaC platform technology.
