Weekly Report #25 Week 25: (3/9/2026-3/23/2026)
This week was hectic and entertaining at the same time. I am happy to report that my fever and my sickness have completely gone, and I have been feeling much better. As we near the end of Spring break - this time has been spent working majority of the time on Robotics since our last and the biggest competition was on the 19th, along with an application that I created called ClearPath AI which I submitted to the MIT AI for a better world challenge, along with finalizing aspects of my ISM final product and ensuring that I stay on schedule. As I discussed in the previous weekly report, robotics had been taking up more and more of my time as we neared the end of the season, with our last competition approaching. Therefore, we spent a lot of time adjusting and refining aspects of the robot, troubleshooting code issues, and preparing for our presentation. On the 19th, we competed in the FIRST in Texas UIL State Championship Division 5A, finishing 2nd in qualification matches with 4.20 ranking points and a 5-0 win-to-loss record. In the playoffs, we finished 3rd. Additionally, I spent this spring break working on the MIT AI for a better world challenge - working on an application called ClearPath AI which is basically a free, browser-based diagnostic tool that compares your symptoms to 10,000+ rare diseases and returns the top diagnoses along with a physician-ready brief in less than 30 seconds, without the need for an account, a referral, or a fee.
For ISM, I focused on finishing my final product - particularly working on the Biophotonics masterclass, and finalizing touches to my PDT simulator, and AI Dosimetry model. For the Biophotonics masterclass, I have finished making a couple of the videos, have drafts ready, and will be recording the rest of the videos over the next week and a half. I will also be working on a new application to upload all of them, along with my other two final products. For the PDT simulator and AI Dosimetry model - I am finished with their application and just working on the UI aspect of it that I need to get done, and transferring it to another application designated specifically for my final product, since it was recently merged with my original work - OncoScan AI. Additionally, during this time, I also had plans to visit my mentor during the spring break and follow around the research that was happening in Texas A&M during that time since their spring break is a week earlier however due to some conflicts it was unable to happen - but I am actively discussing with him about possibilities during the summer where I can visit him for a few days and see the research taking place since when I met him last during the winter break - the campus was empty.
