Week 26: Parallel Tracks

Weekly Report #26 Week 26: (3/23/2026-3/30/2026)

If last week was hectic, this week was a different kind of hectic, the kind that comes not from competition adrenaline but from deadlines converging from every direction simultaneously. With robotics season now behind me, the week was dominated by applications, ISM final product development, science competition preparation, and upcoming physics exams, all at once.

On the applications front, this week was particularly intensive. I worked on completing both my BWSI MIT application and my HRSA UT Austin application, two programs I am genuinely excited about and have invested significant time into crafting responses that authentically represent my journey and aspirations. Both applications pushed me to articulate not just what I have built, but why I build, which is a question I found myself answering more clearly with each draft.

For ISM, progress continued on two fronts. I kept working on the Biophotonics Masterclass, recording additional videos and refining drafts as I work toward completing the full curriculum. The PDT Simulator and AI Dosimetry Model also continued moving forward, with the focus this week on UI refinements and ensuring everything is polished ahead of my final product presentation on April 20th.

Outside of ISM and applications, this week also demanded attention toward my science competition and preparing for upcoming physics exams, a reminder that the academic calendar does not pause for passion projects.

It has been a week of parallel tracks, each demanding full attention, none willing to wait. But the finish line for several of these chapters is now genuinely in sight.
