Weekly Report #27 Week 27: (3/30/2026-4/13/2026)

This week taught me to keep pushing myself, balancing my ISM Final product with deadlines from other classes and the AP Exams that are quickly approaching. This week started on a Tuesday because of the four-day weekend so as a result - it wasn’t as stressful as the full week plus I got the opportunity to relax a little over the long weekend and catch up on anything that I missed - with most of my attention now being focused on academics and doing well on the AP exams and aiming to end the semester and my Junior year of high school strong.

Contrary to what I mentioned in my past weekly reports, this week was quite the opposite, since last week was the last of my summer applications. I am still applying for some summer volunteering opportunities, which will also help keep me busy. For classwork, this last week was focused on preparing for my last AP Psychology exam of the year, before the AP Exam prep begins and the practice exams, which we have the week of the 20th. Additionally, along with that, I significantly put the majority of my time last week into my AP Seminar Individual Multimedia Presentation (IMP) since that will be going to the College Board and counting for my AP Score for the class, and finally, also keeping up with book reading in AP Lang, and notes for AP Physics C: E&M and Calculus BC.

For ISM, I am happy to announce that I have completed my Final Product and turned it in to Mr. Ratliff on Monday, April 13th. This project has been the culmination of my years’ worth of work for ISM, with me dedicating approximately 120 hours to this project over the course of January 23rd to April 12th. For my final product, I made an artificial intelligence-powered biophotonics platform for photodynamic therapy research. This platform includes my original work project (DenseNet121 chest X-ray classifier) called OncoScan AI, now significantly revamped and trained on 127,000 images from two datasets: NIH and CheXpert. Additionally, I also made an interactive PDT Treatment Simulator (it uses photon diffusion approximation with dipole source modeling, wavelength-corrected optical properties, and photobleaching kinetic) across 9 tissue types and 7 photosensitizers, an AI Dosimetry Model that provides you optimized light delivery parameters, and an 11 video series for Biophotonics where I teach everything that I learned from the culmination of the year covering topics from what is light and tissue interaction to my three projects to my three research questions in my ISM manuscript.

Additionally, over the four-day weekend, I revamped my personal portfolio completely and now code it myself, making it available for anyone to view. I added touches, such as a play that reveals my story and lets you play chess against an engine. With each move, you learn more about my story, projects, and extracurricular activities. Additionally, I aggregated everything I have done on the website and created a ManveerGPT that you can ask me any questions, and it will give you answers if you don’t get a chance to click through my website.
